Is your organization's website accessible for everyone?
The term “accessibility” usually refers to the legislation that requires buildings to be equipped with wheelchair ramps, accessible lifts and disability parking spaces. However, in the context of web development, a website is “accessible” if anyone can use it regardless of user, browser, or other limitations. A website that is accessible for everyone is also called a "Universal Website."

Website accessibility can be tested a number of ways such as, getting feedback from the public or staff.
Your website is accessible if:

2. People can use your website without graphical browsers or plug-ins.
3. Users can surf with slow modems or from rural areas with limited internet access.
4. Users have access in noisy settings or high/low light settings.
5. Users with disabilities that are visual, related to cognition/learning, auditory, or motor/physical have access.
